meet roselle

Hi!

I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Roselle, and I am a creative in performance arts based in California. My emphases include sound design, vocal directing, performing, and studio & live sound mixing. I have been in love with music for as long as I can remember, and being able to pursue this lifelong dream of mine fuels my passion and dedication to the arts every single day.

My introduction to music began very, very young. My family was always playing music, singing and dancing around at each family function. I remember smacking on drums with my hands and plucking out keys on a keyboard as a toddler. I began piano lessons during elementary school, which is where I began to write original music. I also got my first laptop, so I [embarrassingly] uploaded videos of me performing in my bedroom on Facebook for my family to see. It wasn’t until I entered high school where I was introduced to my first digital audio workstation at sixteen-years-old, where I brought these songs to life.

This opened up a whole new world for me. During this time, I developed a passion for musical theatre, where I began acting and performing musicals on stage. During that, I would perform locally around my city with a family band, singing fun covers for all sorts of events. Once college hit, musical theatre and making music became my entire life. And to this day, my passion hasn’t wavered. It’s one of those things that I think never will.

I love what I do and hope to continue sharing the stage with the creative community, whether that be on or off stage, performing side by side or collaborating design to design. I dedicate myself to creating safe, inclusive, and diverse work spaces where all team members are heard and valued. I’m excited to continue living life as an art-maker!
